Shipping and Delivery Policy

Payment Before Delivery

All orders must be paid in full and the payment must clear before products can be collected, dispatched, delivered or installed.

After placing your order, please confirm your:

Suburb and postcode

Property access conditions

Tasmania Delivery Only

Tassie Table Sports delivers within Tasmania only.

We do not ship or deliver products interstate. Customers must provide a valid Tasmanian delivery address when placing an order.

Store Pickup

Pickup is available from our store at:

Customers will be contacted when their order is ready for collection. Please confirm your collection time with us before arriving.

Customers collecting large or heavy products must bring:

A suitable vehicle or trailer
Appropriate straps and protective materials
Enough people to safely load and secure the product

Tassie Table Sports is not responsible for damage caused by unsuitable transport, incorrect loading or products not being properly secured after collection.

Delivery Within Tasmania

Delivery is available throughout Tasmania. Delivery availability and pricing will depend on:

Your suburb and postcode
The size and weight of the product
Whether delivery is completed by our team or a third-party courier
Access to the property
Whether additional assistance or equipment is required

Please contact us with your postcode and suburb for a delivery quote.

Unless otherwise agreed, delivery is to the ground floor, front door, garage or another easily accessible location only. Standard delivery does not include assembly, installation or moving the product inside the property.

At least one physically capable adult may be required to assist with unloading large or heavy products. We will advise you before delivery if assistance is required.

Delivery Access

Before requesting a delivery quote, please tell us about any access conditions that may affect delivery, including:

Stairs or steep driveways
Narrow doors, hallways or entrances
Apartment buildings
Lifts and lift dimensions
Restricted parking
Gravel, uneven or soft surfaces
Long distances between parking and the delivery location
Any other restricted or difficult access

Additional charges may apply for stairs, difficult access, extra handling, redelivery or specialised equipment.

If access information is not disclosed before delivery, we may be unable to complete the delivery. Any redelivery or additional handling costs will be payable by the customer.

Boxed Products

Table tennis tables, air hockey tables, foosball tables, arcade machines, combination tables and similar products are generally supplied in boxes unless otherwise stated.

Products may require assembly after delivery. Assembly and installation are not included unless specifically stated in the product description or included in your written quote.

Please allow approximately 5–10 business days for order handling and delivery unless a different timeframe is stated.

Pool and Billiard Tables

Pool and billiard tables may be supplied fully assembled, partially assembled or ready for assembly, depending on the product and delivery requirements.

Typically, the playing frame or tabletop may be assembled, while the legs, base and other components are packed separately.

Professional delivery and assembly may be available in selected Tasmanian locations. Please contact us with the following information for a quote:

Number of stairs
Lift availability and dimensions
Doorway and hallway measurements
Parking and unloading access
Any other relevant access restrictions

Manufactured or custom-order pool tables generally have an estimated lead time of approximately 6–8 weeks. Lead times may be longer during peak periods or due to stock, manufacturing or transport delays.

Delivery Notification

We will normally contact you by phone, SMS or email at least one day before the scheduled delivery.

Delivery dates and times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, courier availability, stock delays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant delays and arrange an alternative delivery time.

Authority to Leave

If no one will be available to accept the delivery, you may give written authority for the product to be left at the front door, garage or another agreed location.

If you provide authority to leave, you accept responsibility for the product after it has been delivered to the agreed location. We recommend selecting a secure and weather-protected area.

We may refuse to leave an order unattended if the location is unsafe, insecure or unsuitable. Redelivery charges may apply.

Missed Deliveries and Redelivery

Please ensure someone is available at the confirmed delivery time unless authority to leave has been approved.

Additional fees may apply if:

No one is available to receive the order
Access cannot be safely completed
Incorrect delivery details were provided
Access conditions were not adequately disclosed
Delivery needs to be rescheduled at short notice

Party Hire Delivery and Collection

Customer pickup and return may be available for selected party hire products from our Spreyton store by prior arrangement.

Delivery, setup and collection services may also be available within selected Tasmanian areas. Please provide your suburb, postcode, requested hire dates and access information for a quote.

All hire charges, bonds and delivery fees must be paid in full and cleared before hired products are collected or delivered.

Delivery and collection times are estimates. While Tassie Table Sports will make reasonable efforts to arrive at the agreed time, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, access difficulties or other unforeseen circumstances.

Delivery, setup and collection will be completed according to the arrangements confirmed in the hire agreement.

Tassie Table Sports is not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control. Nothing in this policy excludes any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
